I am Živko Gvozdenović, a digital product designer from Sremska Mitrovica and, from 2024 to 2025, editor-in-chief of the local outlet Koraci. I reported smoking in the general hospital, asked to film the public sessions of the City Assembly, and asked who is responsible for the fires in the fields around the town. In return I got a criminal complaint, silence and a nickname: „ubačen element“, a planted agent, as if someone had sent me. Nobody sent me. Each case is documented here down to the last letter.

General Hospital Sremska Mitrovica, 2025–2026
In 2025 a citizen repeatedly reported staff smoking inside the general hospital in Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia. The hospital filed a criminal complaint against him for impersonating an official, which the prosecutor rejected for lack of grounds. His own complaint for false reporting was also rejected, and on 25 August 2026 the higher prosecutor rejected his objection.

Open-air fires around Sremska Mitrovica, September 2026
After open-air fires filled the countryside around Sremska Mitrovica with smoke on 18 to 23 September 2026, the author sent nine freedom-of-information requests asking what the institutions recorded about the fires, reports, penalties and air pollution in 2021 to 2026. Replies will be published in full as they arrive.

City Assembly of Sremska Mitrovica, 2024–2026
From August 2024 the then editor of a local outlet asked to film the public sessions of the City Assembly of Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia; the Assembly let him attend but not record. In October 2025 the national Ombudsman found the refusal had no clear basis and recommended that the Assembly publish its own recordings and session notices. The Assembly never replied, even after a reminder, and the non-compliance was entered in the Ombudsman's annual report for 2025.

Every document has a permanent number, from D1 up, and a page that says how it was obtained, when, and what was redacted by whom. Redaction is done on images, not on text: each page is turned into an image, black boxes go on the image, and a new PDF is made from the images, so no live text, fonts or metadata remain under the black. Each published file has a SHA-256 hash on its page and in manifest-sha256.txt, so anyone can check that a downloaded file has not been changed.
Every change after publication is recorded, with its date, in the log under the text, and is never deleted; the changes also have their own feed. Questions go to the other side no later than the day of publication. A reply is published in full and unedited, next to the text it concerns, within two working days of receipt.
